A journey to the Orient to observe and experience Japanese culture in rural and cosmopolitan settings. Sampling various forms of travel in Japan, from the snow monkeys in the mountains to the cherry blossom in and around villages and cities. This is sure to be a colourful and enticing talk.
Dougie Burns is a retired civil servant who is a keen traveller, having been fortunate enough to visit China, East Africa, South America, Hawaii, the Galapagos and Antarctica to name but a few.
