Kinveachy Lodge, Strathspey Estate, Kinchurdy

Strathspey Estate is situated in the heart of the Scottish Highlands, some 30 miles south of Inverness and the legendary Loch Ness. The estate covers an area of 22,500 hectares, stretching from the magnificent River Spey through farmland to ancient Caledonian Pine Forests and the open heather grouse moors.

At Castle Grant, downstream of Grantown-on-Spey, the Estate has three of the best salmon beats on this renowned river with a total of 219 named pools.

Each beat has double bank fishing ensuring exclusive use in quiet and relaxed surroundings.

Full-time ghillies on each beat are happy to use their local knowledge to try to ensure a successful stay for each guest.

These three magnificent beats are available for weekly lets from mid-February until September.

The Upper Castle Grant Beat just below Grantown-on-Spey also provides excellent salmon fishing which can be taken by the individual for the day or by parties of up to eight rods for longer periods.

Further upstream the Estates Kinchurdy Beat stretches over three scenic miles and offers salmon and exceptional sea trout fishing for up to seven rods on a daily or weekly basis.

Kinveachy Lodge, Boat of Garten is traditionally used by our fishing, shooting and stalking tenants and we are pleased to be able to boast a good reputation for excellent cuisine and Highland Hospitality.

The Lodge is let to private parties on a weekly basis and we pride ourselves in making our guests feel at home.

The location of Kinveachy is excellent, being approx 45 mins. drive from Inverness Airport.
