Some money saving advice for you
- Switch off lights in empty rooms
- Insulate doors and windows
- Choose lamp shades which don’t obstruct light. Remove dirt and dust from lamp shades.
- Dim the lights. Dimmer switches can extend the bulb life up to 10 times, while reducing power use and light level.
- Install an automatic timer to turn lights on/off when you leave the house.
- Check your attic – another layer of insulation may make all the difference.
- Use sensor lights at your front and rear doors so they automatically turn off.
- Change all your light bulbs to low energy ones – they make them prettier now!
- Use low rate tariffs from your electricity supplier to heat all your domestic water.
- Don’t leave your TVs on standby – switch them off!
