Some money saving advice for you

  • Switch off lights in empty rooms
  • Insulate doors and windows
  • Choose lamp shades which don’t obstruct light. Remove dirt and dust from lamp shades.
  • Dim the lights. Dimmer switches can extend the bulb life up to 10 times, while reducing power use and light level.
  • Install an automatic timer to turn lights on/off when you leave the house.
  • Check your attic – another layer of insulation may make all the difference.
  • Use sensor lights at your front and rear doors so they automatically turn off.
  • Change all your light bulbs to low energy ones – they make them prettier now!
  • Use low rate tariffs from your electricity supplier to heat all your domestic water.
  • Don’t leave your TVs on standby – switch them off!
