The Business

History

The practice commenced trading as Chartered Accountants and Insolvency Practitioners in Boat of Garten and Aviemore in August 1996. Iain Forsyth trades as a sole practitioner. The business has two separate parts:

1. Accounting and tax work for local businesses
2. Insolvency work.

The Principal

Iain Forsyth BCom(Hons) CA ABRP is a graduate of Edinburgh University. He is a member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland and The Association of Business Recovery Professionals. He has worked in industry, and as a CA in practice, in Scotland. He is also a qualified insolvency practitioner. He has held over 100 insolvency appointments as trustee and liquidator

  • Produce monthly or quarterly management accounts

  • Prepare and submit self-assessment tax returns and computations to the Inspector of Taxes.
  • Claim allowances or tax relief's that may be available to reduce tax liability.
  • Deal directly with the Inland Revenue and handle correspondence arising.
• Insolvency
  • Iain Forsyth takes appointments as liquidator of companies and acts as trustee and agent in personal bankruptcies.
