Many of the photographs used for illustrations in the Boat of Garten website were taken by local resident Chris Carter.

These were selected from a large collection of slides and digital photographs taken throughout the Highlands and elsewhere in Scotland over the past 45 years.

Some other examples from the collection are shown on these pages.; Anyone wishing to enquire about the possible use of these slides for publication is welcome to make contact.

Chris Carter is an experienced speaker and is available to give illustrated talks (in the UK or abroad) to clubs, societies or other bodies on a number of Scottish subjects such as:
