Chalet Morlich, located within the grounds of Moorfield House Guest House. A peaceful location, yet situated within the centre of the village, with the Kirk (Church) to one side and the Manse (Rectory) to the other.

This STB 2 star self catering holiday home offers accommodation for to up to 4 guests, with one double bedroom and two single. Close to village shops and within easy walking distance of the Boat of Garten Golf Club, the River Spey and the Strathspey Steam Railway. Abernethy Forest is just across the river where you can find the RSPB Loch Garten Osprey Centre and a selection of walking and cycling tracks.

Chalet Morlich provides a comfortable base from which you can explore all that the surrounding area and the Highlands of Scotland has to offer. Open all year, the chalet is popular with a wide range of guests, many of whom are Birdwatching (A large list of birds visit the bird table just outside the chalet window, as well as the resident red squirrels!) Golfing, Fishing, Cycling, Walking, Hillwalking, Climbing, Mountaineering (two local guides are based in the village), Ski-ing or Snowboarding, or just simply enjoying the peace and quiet that is all around.

Chalet Facilities

Chalet Morlich comprises of :

• Dining / Kitchen area with table and chairs, fridge, kettle, toaster, microwave oven and electric cooker.
• Lounge is furnished with a three piece wooden framed suite, electric fire and remote controlled colour Television.
• 3 Bedrooms (1 Double & 2 Single)

  all have double / single duvets, pillows and throws. Blankets and hot water bottles are available.

• Hallway has a cloak cupboard with coin slot electric meter within.
• Bathroom with white suite and an electric shower over bath.

Ironing board, iron, vacuum cleaner,crockery and utensils are supplied.

Electric room heating.

Laundry facilities are available in the village.

Private parking. Garden area

Bed linen and towels can be supplied by prior arrangement at a cost of £10.00 per week/per let.

The Chalet is fully non smoking.

Electricity is by £1 slot meter.

Tariff, Facilities and Conditions of Rental.

Weekly Tariff

November, December* and January*	£185.00 per week
February and March	£185.00 per week
April and October	£200.00 per week
May, June and September	£225.00 per week
July and August	£250.00 per week
Booking Deposit Required:	£50.00 per week
* includes lets upto 20th December and after 3rd January. Does not include Christmas and Hogmanay - please contact us for prices.

Cancellations

In the event of the booking being cancelled, the deposit shall be forfeited.

If the booking is cancelled within one month of the date of entry, the remainder of the rental fee shall be due. However, should we be able to re-sell the week(s), all monies shall be refunded.

Conditions of Rental

Rental of chalet is from Saturday to Saturday. Entry not before 3.00 pm, departure by 10.30 am.

Upon arrival, the remainder of the rental fee shall be paid including a £50.00 damages deposit.

The damages deposit shall, of course, be refunded in full on departure, provided that the chalet is left as found.

The number of persons occupying the chalet shall not exceed the number for which beds are provided.

Occupiers are required to leave the chalet clean and tidy, ready for incoming guests.

Pets may be accepted by prior arrangement only, and must be kept under strict control at all times.

Pets are not to be left unaccompanied in the chalet at any time and must not be exercised in the grounds of Moorfield House.
